Savannah, GA – Wood Products International is proud to announce that Orgill, Inc. will distribute Fatwood Firestarter from all of their distribution centers year-round. Representatives from the company recently exhibited at the Orgill Spring Dealer Market in Orlando, Florida.

Orgill, Inc. is the U.S.’s largest independently-owned hardlines distributorship providing retailers in over 60 countries with access to 60,000+ products and services.

“We had a fantastic show. I spoke to many dealers who directly requested that Orgill add Fatwood in their warehouses. It really helps when you have their support,” states Richard Davis, owner of Wood Products International. “We continue to see an increasing consumer demand for Fatwood. They love it because it easy to use and all natural, what else could you ask for in a fire starter?”

Fatwood Firestarter representatives will be available in person at the Fall Dealer Market in Las Vegas, Nevada this August 2012. For more information contact Fatwood Firestarter at sales@fatwood.com.

ABOUT FATWOOD:

Fatwood Firestarter is simply nature’s best fire starter. It’s the wood of old pine stumps left from logging. The resin (sap) concentrates in the stumpwood and hardens over time, creating an all-natural, 100% organic, chemical-free firestarter that takes to a spark like a duck takes to water. You can start every fire with one match, even when wet!

Our Fatwood comes from non-rainforest areas of Central America. It’s part of our dedication to sustainable forestry, using every bit of the tree from the root to the top. Live trees are never cut for our Fatwood, and we harvest only non-endangered species of pines.

We take the stumps and split them into sticks approximately 8″ in length and 3/4″ in diameter. We’ve found this size to be safe and ideal for practically all applications, be they in the fireplace, backyard BBQ, pellet fuel stoves, or even in the woods while camping.
